Corporate seminars in Marseille, turnkey

A successful seminar is not judged by how beautiful the room is, but by what your teams remember the following Monday. Between the plenary, the workshops and the informal moments, everything depends on the pace of the day and on reliable technical equipment.

In brief

A corporate seminar in Marseille is built around a goal (to align, train, decide or bond), a suitable room and a running order that alternates plenary sessions, workshops and time to talk. A sea-view room for 80 people costs around €800 to €1,700 per day. ADJM Événementiel handles the sound system, projection, team-building activities, photography and on-site coordination.

  • A running order built with you

Timings, speakers, breaks and transitions: a written run sheet, shared with the venue and the caterer.

  • Equipment tested before anyone arrives

Wireless microphones, projector, screen and video playback set up and tested before 8.30am.

  • Team-building time that serves a purpose

Cocktail workshop, escape game or smartphone quiz, matched to the seminar’s goal.

  • Photos delivered within 48 hours

Event coverage and corporate portraits for your internal communications and social media.

  • A single point of contact

A coordinator liaises with the venue, the caterer and the speakers on the day.

Why organise a corporate seminar?

Before looking for a room, write down in one sentence what the seminar must achieve. Aligning a team on a strategy, training people on a new tool, deciding on an action plan or bonding a group after a reorganisation: each goal calls for a different format. A decision-making day needs breakout rooms and a neutral facilitator. A team-bonding day can make do with a short plenary and a long activity in the afternoon.

That sentence then helps you make choices: if a speaker, an activity or a venue does not serve the goal, it comes off the programme.

What does a typical one-day seminar look like?

  1. 8.45am, welcome coffee: badges, pastries, discreet background music. Allow 30 minutes, as late arrivals are the rule.
  2. 9.15am, plenary: a word from management, then two talks of 30 minutes at most, with questions via wireless microphone.
  3. 10.45am, break: a real 20 minutes, not 10.
  4. 11am, workshops: groups of 8 to 12 people, one specific question per workshop, a designated rapporteur.
  5. 12.30pm, lunch: buffet or standing lunch, better for conversation than a seated meal.
  6. 2pm, team-building time: an activity lasting 1.5 to 2.5 hours, as this is when attention drops.
  7. 4.30pm, feedback: each workshop presents its conclusions in 5 minutes, and management wraps up.
  8. 5.30pm, close or drinks: a drink on the terrace to end the day on a relaxed note.

How much does a seminar in Marseille cost?

The first item is the room. A sea-view seminar room for 80 people costs between €800 and €1,700 per day in Marseille, often with a basic sound system. Which venue to choose for a seminar in Marseille?

For a team of fewer than 140 people who want to see the sea, the Espace Soleil at the Cercle des Nageurs comes equipped with a sound system, a projector and microphones. The Mucem combines meeting lounges with a 329-seat auditorium. The Rowing Club, at the entrance to the Old Port, has seminar rooms and a rooftop for drinks. To get out of the city, an estate like Château Saint-Hilaire near Aix-en-Provence lends itself well to a residential seminar. What activities for a seminar?

What mistakes should you avoid?

  • A programme that is too packed: without free time, the informal conversations, often the most useful ones, disappear.
  • An afternoon activity in full sun in July in Provence: aim for the morning or the end of the day.
  • Videos never tested on the venue’s equipment: format, sound, cable, everything must be tried the day before or at 8am.
  • Forgetting access: parking, public transport, accessibility for people with reduced mobility.

What does ADJM Événementiel take care of?

We install the sound system and projection, suggest and run the team-building sessions, bring in a photographer and provide on-the-day coordination. If you wish, we also find the room and the caterer as part of turnkey event planning.
