How does a cocktail workshop work?

The workshop runs in small groups, each person at their own workstation. The bartender demonstrates the technique, participants copy it, taste and adjust. Over the three recipes, you move from a cocktail built directly in the glass to a shaken cocktail, then on to garnishing.

1. Introduction (15 minutes): the families of cocktails, the bar tools, the measures.
2. First cocktail: a simple recipe, built in the glass, to gain confidence.
3. Second cocktail: the shaker, the ice, the straining. This is the most spectacular moment.
4. Third cocktail: a more elaborate creation or a team challenge, scored by the bartender.
5. Group tasting: each team serves its cocktails to the others, who vote for their favourite.

Allow around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the number of participants. One bartender leads a small brigade; for a large group, we add bartenders and workstations.

How much does a cocktail workshop team building cost?

ADJM Événementiel offers the cocktail workshop at €70 per person, including ingredients, equipment and bartender. So the budget is calculated directly from your headcount, with no hidden flat fee. It can be combined with the other cocktail bar services of the AlloBarmanMarseille community.

How much space do you need for a cocktail workshop?

You need sturdy tables for the workstations, access to water nearby and a space where splashes are not a problem. A terrace, a rooftop, a hotel patio or a seminar room with a washable floor all work. Outdoors in a Marseille summer, plan for shade: the ice and the participants melt quickly.

Which events is it for?

For larger groups, the workshop can become an interactive bar during a party: guests step behind the counter for a few minutes, guided by our bartenders. Remember to offer a clear alcohol-free option and to plan how participants will get home.
