A wireless microphone costs €45 per day, a dance floor lighting pack (2 beam moving heads and 2 lighting totems) starts at €200 and a sound or lighting technician is charged at €35 per hour. The team delivers, installs, sets up and dismantles the equipment.

What sound system do you need for a corporate event?

There are two uses that call for different equipment. Speech reinforcement (plenary, speeches, panel discussion, awards) must make every word intelligible, without feedback, right to the back row. Music sound (cocktails, dance party, concert) must deliver the bass and fill the space without overwhelming guests seated near the speakers.

Many seminar rooms have a system for speech, but nothing that will get 150 people dancing. Conversely, a badly set-up party sound system makes speeches painful. Before hiring anything, ask these questions:

  • How many people, in what size of space, indoors or outdoors?
  • How many speakers, and do they talk at the same time (panel) or one after another?
  • Do you need to play sound from a video or a computer?
  • Does the venue impose a volume limit or a sound level limiter?
  • What time must the music stop?

What lighting do you need for a party or a conference?

Lighting has three jobs. It shows: the speaker must be lit from the front, or they disappear in the photos and the video. It creates atmosphere: a few LED lights washing the walls with colour are enough to turn a meeting room into a reception room. It brings energy: on the dance floor, moving heads and effects follow the rhythm of the music and make people want to dance.

Outdoors, think about nightfall: in June in Marseille, it is still light at 9pm, but a garden or terrace gets dark very quickly after that. Battery-powered lights let you illuminate trees, façades and paths without running cables.

How much does sound and lighting hire cost in Marseille?

For a plenary, an awards ceremony or a concert, a live technician (€45 per hour) runs the control desk from start to finish. If you also book a DJ, the Ambiance and Prestige packages already include a sound system for a medium-sized room.

What our technical team does

We carry out a site visit or study the floor plan and photos of the venue, check the available power supply, then set up before the caterer arrives. Your questions

How much does a wireless microphone cost for a speech?

At ADJM Événementiel, a wireless microphone can be hired for €45 per day. Add a speaker (from €60) if the room has no sound system. For several speakers, plan one microphone per person speaking at the same time.

Do you need a technician for the whole event?

For a cocktail reception with a single speech, setting up at installation is often enough. For a plenary, a panel discussion or an awards ceremony, a technician at the control desk (€35 per hour, €45 for live) prevents drop-outs and feedback.

Can you light a garden or a façade?

Yes, with battery-powered LED lights, at €25 per light. They are placed without cables and colour trees, walls and paths.

Is the equipment delivered and installed?

Yes. Our technicians deliver, install, set up and dismantle the equipment. Travel is included within Marseille, then charged at €1 per kilometre for the round trip.
