Why hire a professional photographer for a corporate event?
Photos taken by guests on their phones tell the story of an evening among colleagues. They are rarely usable for company communications: rough framing, yellow room lighting, blurred speakers. An event photographer works for you: they cover the highlights, spot spontaneous moments, photograph speakers from the front and already think about how the images will be used, in landscape for a website or portrait for social media.
How much does a photographer cost for a corporate event in Marseille?

A half day is enough for an evening from 7pm to 11pm or for the morning of a seminar. A full day suits a complete seminar, a convention or a product launch followed by a cocktail reception.
How do you prepare for successful photo coverage?
- Send the running order to the photographer: times of speeches, award presentations, arrival of key guests.
- Make a list of must-have photos: the director with partners, each team, the product being launched, the group photo.
- Appoint a go-between who knows the guests and can tell the photographer who is who.
- Schedule the group photo early, before dinner: everyone is there and still fresh.
- Inform participants that a photographer will be present and how the images will be used, to respect image rights.
Corporate portraits: should you do them on the day of the event?
It is often the ideal opportunity: the whole team is together and dressed for the event. The photographer sets up a small studio in a side room and sees each person in five minutes, between two working sessions. You get portraits with the same look for your website, your brochures and your colleagues’ LinkedIn profiles.
Video and drone: what do you need to know?
An event film needs more preparation than photo coverage: interviews to schedule, consent from the people filmed, royalty-free music for the edit. Plan at least a short one-minute version for social media. For drones, flying over people and urban areas is strictly regulated; in Marseille, the proximity of Marignane airport and certain protected areas means every site must be checked. Our videographers carry out this check before confirming that a flight is feasible.
