The countryside around Salon is magnificent in spring, but it is exposed to the mistral and to the strong heat of summer. Three reflexes: provide shade (gazebos, trees, sail shades) for anything happening between noon and 5pm, firmly weigh down anything that could blow away, and light the paths as soon as night falls.
How should you organise guests’ journeys?
- From Marseille: about 45 minutes via the A7; a coach is recommended for the journey home after the party.
- From the logistics sites in Grans or Miramas: a few minutes’ drive, ideal for a weekday evening.
- From Marseille Provence Airport: about 30 minutes, handy for a seminar with participants arriving by plane.
