Which Mucem spaces suit which event?
The Mucem is not hired “as a whole”: you book one or more spaces depending on the format. For a management meeting or a workshop, the VIP Lounge (25 people boardroom-style, 50 theatre-style) and the Meltem Room (85 theatre-style) work well. For a convention or a plenary, the auditorium offers 329 seats. For cocktails, the Solarium and the VIP Lounge hold 90 people, and the Cour de la Commande 250. Large events take place in the J4 Great Hall, on the J4 terrace or on the Place d’Armes of Fort Saint-Jean, for up to 400 guests.

A popular format for a seminar: a morning plenary in the auditorium, lunch, afternoon workshops, then cocktails on the terrace at sunset. The venue also offers private tours of the exhibitions, a real bonus to open or close the day.
What budget should you plan?
Hiring a prestige venue like the Mucem ranges from €1,600 for a lounge during the day to more than €13,000 for the large outdoor spaces in the evening, according to the venue’s hire rates.
