Why does a photo booth work at a corporate party?

At a corporate party, departments rarely mix spontaneously. The photo booth gives people a reason to: you invite a colleague from another floor to pose, improvise a team photo, come back with different props. It is also a self-running activity that keeps going all evening without monopolising attention, unlike a show.

For the company, every print carries your logo: it ends up on a desk or a fridge and keeps the memory of the event alive. And the digital photos feed your internal communications.

How does PicShot work?

PicShot is an application developed within our network. During the evening, photos from the booth and from the photographer are sent to a private gallery. A QR code is displayed on site or sent after the event. The guest scans it, takes a selfie, and the gallery shows them only the photos they appear in. There is nothing to install, and no need to scroll through hundreds of images.

This is useful for large groups: at a 300-person seminar, nobody browses the full gallery, but everyone looks at their own photos.

Where should you put the photo booth, and what do you need?

• A busy spot, near the bar or the dance floor, but not in one of the caterer’s access routes.
• A space of about 2 m by 3 m for the booth, the backdrop and guests posing in groups.
• A power socket nearby: we bring the extension leads.
• A backdrop or set that matches your theme, to be planned with us in advance.
• Information for guests about how the photos will be used, if you plan to publish them.
