With a capacity of 10 to 400 people and several spaces, Sport Beach adapts to very different formats. Its strength is that it allows a full day with no transfers: meeting, activities, meal and party in the same place.

What team building to organise by the sea?
The beach and the venue’s facilities offer a ready-made playing field. A few formats that work well by the sea:
- A team pétanque tournament on the venue’s pitch: accessible to all ages and all fitness levels.
- Survivor-style company olympics (Koh-Lanta) on the sand, with challenges of skill, thinking and cooperation.
- A cocktail workshop in the late afternoon, to make the evening’s drinks yourselves.
- A smartphone quiz at sunset, to make the transition to the evening.
How much does a beach party in Marseille cost?
Marseille’s private-hire beaches offer their own cocktail menus: the benchmarks observed range from €35 to €60 per person for a cocktail reception with food, excluding open bar and entertainment. For a complete turnkey party, allow €65 to €130 per person. Remember the deposit: it is often higher at these venues (50% in the terms we have seen) than with entertainment providers.
What is the best season for a beach event?
From May to early October, the beach is in full swing: long evenings, swimming possible, late sunsets. June and September are often the most comfortable months, with more bearable heat than in July and August and slightly lower demand. Out of season, the venue can still be used for a meeting or a lunch, but the party moves indoors. For a June party, book at the start of the year: Thursday and Friday dates go fast.

From 10 to 400 people depending on the space. A 150 m² space holds 100 people seated or 200 for cocktails, and another of 100 m² holds 100 people for cocktails.
Can you hold a team building day at Sport Beach?
Yes, the venue has a pétanque pitch, a swimming pool and beach access. A pétanque tournament, company olympics or a cocktail workshop can all be organised there with no transfers.
What deposit to book a private beach in Marseille?
Terms vary from venue to venue. In the quotes we have seen, the beaches asked for a 50% deposit, whereas agencies and venues generally ask for 30 to 60%.
What if the mistral blows during a beach event?
Always plan a covered fallback space and an indoor activity. The mistral can make a cocktail reception or a challenge on the sand uncomfortable, even in fine weather.
