Why organise a corporate event in Toulon?

Toulon is home to France’s main naval base and a whole ecosystem linked to the sea: shipbuilding, defence, underwater technologies, research. Around it, the urban area has many SMEs, public administrations and healthcare establishments. Many of these organisations prefer to bring their teams together locally rather than send them to Marseille.

The city also has plenty going for it as a setting: the bay, which you can take in at a glance from the heights, Mont Faron towering over the city and reached by cable car, the Mourillon beaches and the old town. For sports fans, the Stade Mayol is a strong symbol of Toulon’s identity.

If you are bringing together teams from both cities, the A50 links Marseille to Toulon in about an hour outside rush hour, and TER trains are frequent on the coastal line. A chartered coach remains the safest option for a return trip in the evening. For a meeting point halfway, La Ciotat is a good option.
