These three artists don’t do the same job and aren’t used at the same moment. The close-up magician works right next to guests, in small groups. The mentalist creates the illusion of reading minds, on the move or on stage. The hypnotist brings volunteers up on stage: it is a show, which needs an attentive room.

How does close-up magic entertainment work?
The magician arrives before the guests and gets to know the room. During the cocktail reception, they approach one group after another, perform a few tricks in a few minutes, then move on to the next group. Guests talk about it among themselves, get closer, compare what they saw: that is exactly the effect you want. During a seated dinner, they go from table to table between courses.
